Paint-Out at a Historic Village

"Nostalgic Louisville and Nashville" 10x20, Oil. SOLD.
My "honorable mention" along with everyone's work from the day hangs at the Dragonfly Gallery.
Participants of the 2nd Annual Plein Air Paint-Out in Bagdad Florida. This year's Judge- Hazel Sheill. Organized by Sally Miller. Sponsored by the Bagdad Village Preservation Society and the Dragonfly Gallery (Milton, FL). Group Shot Photo- thanks Lindy Brown.

Though a paint-out is a timed event, I stopped twice to give the trains their right-of-way>>> !
The scheduled train-passing caused a gathering of visitors from the Train Museum to stop as well.
A nice lunch was served at the gallery after my work at the train station was through.

Thanks Brenda. Yes, fun to learn the history of a unique little area. btw- All your color-combos on the lemon works are exciting! Not to mention, painting in the middle of the road!

Thank you Heather for mentioning both.
