No these radishes were not painted in the open air, though they probably originated there. It is the path of light on the leaves that makes this one work for me, that and the rhythmic simplicity.I know I should be using that sketchbook they gave us at "Week End with the Masters" for more than a back drop, to actually practice drawing in, but I just love paint SO much!

It seems a wonder all you do, you get the colors and the dimensions of the subtlety of your shadows and lights.
