December in Florida

It was so beautiful out this morning, though the painting is not complete, I'll share the experience. Our winter "rule" is, if it's 40 degrees, it's too cold to paint. I arose to a nippy 44, but glad I got out because it quickly became a sunny 65. Just wanted to share a winter's day in ~sunny~ Florida before I play some Christmas tunes and light up my tree. Holiday Magic to all my blog-buddies...

Oh, yeah... I usually paint much better than this, but I was trying to be my own camera-man.

Jill, Fun to see just that little bit- you are a fine camera-man! I look forward to seeing the finished piece and know it will be beautiful. Your plein air work is simply wonderful. Love it- gorgeous colors and the best water ever!
Thanks for being a follower- made my day:)

Hi Jill, so nice of you to share your sunny day. We are in for a big storm tomorrow here in Maine and it could be either rain or snow, we'll find out soon enough.

Jill, Thanks for taking us along on your plein air excursion. Wish I could be there to watch you paint in real life. We're having our first big snowfall of the season here in Chicago. Time to bring out the snow blower!

Water is in most of my work.

Carol- I just heard another winter storm report & thought about you, stay warm.

Janelle- Come on down!
Now that you don't have that big move to occupy you. ~Travel~ come teach us about glazing!

Luzia- Your beautiful photo-art makes me want for a walk in the snow.

Karen- Yes. I am painting up a storm, but finishing some work indoors. It's 37 out and ~very WINDY~~~ (she said to the famous "windy city" painter.)
