Sunday Out

Yesterday, I enjoyed my Sunday outdoors... took a long walk along the shore, hadn't climbed the lookout tower in the park for a while, a friend's visit, all kinds of boats on the Intercoastal, and a delicious oriental salad with shrimp, mango, and crunchy noodles, out on the deck of the Oyster Bar. I'm back inside today readying for an outdoor-lover themed show. So I'll leave you with a detail from a long-ago sold painting inspired by another shore, and one of my favorite songs which is based on a long-ago written love-poem by a king. "The winter is past and the spring-time has come..."

You keep getting better and better. This is absolutely gorgeous! The sparkle on the water, the water shining on the rocks...I almost feel like I can smell the salt in the air.

The water is lovely,Linda, so alive. I also had my Sunday beach walk and saw familiar rocks looking unreal in the mist!

Dana- It's so cool to have virtual-artist to bounce reflections off of.

Karen- this painting can be viewed in it's entirety at my website- click on the easel that leads you there... then "studio work '07". I spent a holiday in Canyon Lakes. The water color there and terrain!!- so un-Texas! Lots of deer roaming free too.

Claire- thanks for adding your voice... new life, over here.

Janelle- so glad you enjoyed the song... some mornings, it's good to jump right into or out of our comfort zone (whatever the case may be).

Carol- the beauty we see is meant to be shared. Thank You.

Ramesh- I appreciate your "seal of approval".

Gwen- Have I told you... I like your new pic? Well~ I do!

Karen B- Yeah, a lovely day spent with an art-friend, and even more so in retrospect. Since painting out on Friday... it has been gloomy-ville... with an oil slick on the horizon... ~sad~

Galina- So nice to hear from you again. Thanks

Anita! not that I am a sold-out believer of fortune-cookies... but how did you know?- "You are an exciting and inspiring person"... well you were pretty close! thanks a lot!

Marie, thanks! Is lovely-Linda someone I should know about? Or did you get me confused with my most-beautiful little sister with the big brown eyes?
