Workshop, episode 2

This workshop was during Mother's Day... so here I am in the boondocks with NO cell phone coverage! For anyone who thought I ran away and chose not to take family calls; the proof is in the painting. The only crime I was committing was that of painting a slightly off-balance boat with absolutely no rigging.

The first morning he passed on that view, but decided on it the next.
Zooming in on the trio of boats on the end, and of course eliminating the storm victim in the middle.
The sky was sort of scrubbed in with not a whole lot of paint.
This was just a start...
I don't think he got to refine this one on location.

Sunday evening he picked the two neighboring boats from up on the balcony, and we were grateful for the shade. Here he uses a handy tool that he made by bending a piece of metal. "Sitting in Mill Pond"
I notice has sold,
