Vicarious Experience

It's a good day when you feel that you've captured the atmospherics of a place. This location was new for me but so familiar to the local boaters and those who lived on houseboats tied to the dock I was painting from. There is something very intriguing about being out on the water. Each painting done at a real place increases your personal experience, but not only that, it becomes a place and time that others can visit vicariously and see what you saw. Like travel photography, it's meant to be shared. The title of this painting is "Summer's End at the Fish Camp" SOLD.  website: http://www.jillberryartist.com/ .
